Time-saving self check-in
If one of your travel pet peeves is waiting in line for reception staff to book you in once you arrive, you’re going to relish the option of self check-in. A couple of days before your reservation begins, we’ll send over a code so you can access the building, our luggage room and of course the room you’ve been allocated. Once you arrive, you can leave your bags and head out to explore Reykjavik without delay. If you do need us, our off-site reception staff are easily reached by phone and email should you require anything.
Food on your doorstep
As well as having your own kitchenette, there’s a bakery on the ground floor at ODDSSON Downtown – ideal for grabbing some pastries for breakfast or the makings of a picnic lunch. In addition, numerous cafés, restaurants and other eateries can be found in the neighbourhood, so whenever you’re feeling peckish, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Free parking
Many visitors to Reykjavik retain their rental car after travelling further afield as some of the most beautiful landscapes in Iceland are an easy day trip from the capital and it’s sometimes preferable to self-drive rather than take a tour. Booking a hotel that offers free parking is a real bonus – no more driving around in search of a parking space or trying to figure out how to pay for it. For those times when you prefer to leave the car behind and head off on foot, you can rest assured that it’s in a safe place.
